the Pirrone gallery.

The Pirrone gallery contemplates the sculptures of the artist Giuseppe Pirrone, donated to the Museum after a wonderful artistic career that made him one of the greatest representatives of 20th century contemporary art in Sicily and beyond.

The gallery, dedicated to the mother of the sculptor Elvira Pirrone Resso, exhibits works of extraordinary beauty, sculptures with materials ranging from bronze to gold and medals that highlight Pirrone's ability as a portraitist, dedicated to illustrious and familiar personalities. The history of this great artist is strictly connected to his native land and the city of Noto, where he moved in 1910 for some years to come.

The contemporary art gallery section often hosts temporary exhibitions, both by artists of the past and by young and emerging artists. The large room can host conventions and conferences of artistic and cultural interest.
